Progress Forever International is a registered non-profit organisation in Nigeria. Its members who come from various professional backgrounds have one common purpose of bringing progress to people who currently are deprived of it. Funding of our projects is by donations from members and our partners.
To enhance the less-privileged’s quality of life in communities.
To provide some basic amenities, healthcare, training & education
Our aim is to use holistic approach to bring progress to communities in Nigeria and Africa at large. We believe that people regardless of where they live are entitled to basic needs of life such as clothing, drinkable (portable) water and medical care. We are resolute in seeing that all these are delivered according to the resources available to us.
It is not rocket science that robust plans for social mobility in the poor society is pivotal to progress. Since social mobility can be achieved chiefly through education, we in Progress Forever therefore make it our goal to encourage young people from poor backgrounds to obtain academic qualifications that will either make them employable or self employed.
Young people always become progress catalysts when they know what to do. In light of this Progress Forever organises progress seminars for young people in their community to enlighten and equip them.
It is also our plan to provide dispensaries, public toilets and libraries depending on the felt needs of each community. In all these the motivation is our Christian faith and conviction that prayer in the name our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ brings transformation. Corporate prayer therefore is used as a spiritual weapon to remove obstructions in the way of progress in communities.
The vision was given to the founder, Kola Bamigbade .It started as a vision to pray for his local town, Fiditi, to see God change things just like when he did when Nehemiah prayed for the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem in the Bible. The first event was a ‘Fiditi Prayer Day’ in December 2013’ where Pastor EA Adeboye visited and prayed for the town.
